Females Advocate Derogatory Treatment

Just this past Saturday I went to the club with my cousins; now I am not the one to front, I am all for a good time (not too keen on the whole club idea but I will every once in a while). That night must have been “come with your craziness” night bc when I tell you it was CRAZY!!! Our initial entrance was not that bad bc when we first got there it was pretty chill; all the people in there where chilling, drinking, and just vibing to the music so it seemed as if the night was going to be pretty cool. All of a sudden craziness showed up. Girls were coming in there with no clothes on…like nothing was left to the imagination. It was like they took the shortest thing they could find in their house and threw some heels on. On top of that, girls were taking off their clothes (and I mean stripping down as if it were a strip club), guys were dry humping them (hardcore) on the dance floor and on top of the bars, females were throwing up on themselves and falling all over the floor, and then the kicker…females would be dancing with a guy and another guy would come buy dump their drink on her (and I mean all over her) and then attempt to lick it off…SMH it was horrible!!! The worst part was that EVERYONE in that club was 21 or older. The music wasn’t helping either bc the songs they were playing weren’t even regular songs that we hear on the radio (I mean initially yes but somewhere along the way the DJ must have revamped the playlist), they were playing songs that were downright disrespectful to every woman that even thought about dancing to them. They were saying things like (excuse me language) “P(word) so pink,” “bend it over let me see you open it up,” or “Raise your hand if you’re a bad b(word) and let me hear you scream,”…Now I know that I am not completely exempt from ever having  listened to music that degrades a woman so intensely, but put the music with the imagine of girls doing exactly what the songs tells them to do and guarantee you will rethink it the next time you go to sing that song. It got so bad in there that my cousins and I couldn’t even stay bc it was no longer fun, it was like one big dirty orgy…

After we left I started thinking about how a lot of times woman don’t realize that men have lost respect for us bc we no longer have respect for ourselves. We allow them to say things to us and do things to us and then it becomes a natural habit then all of a sudden we want to change it up and be like “do talk to me like that,” or “don’t call me the b(word),” but we are they same females in the club raising our hand bc the song just told us to “raisie our hand if we are a bad b(word).” So we are saying it that its okay for the song to say it to us but not okay for the males to say it to us…SMH…not how it works. I mean am not trying to get all technical bc this is NOT the first time this issue has been discussed and confronted and ppl will get it in due time; however, for me having experienced that it makes me look at all of that stuff completely different. I mean I was in complete AWE to see the way those females were acting and carrying on. I can reassure you that at the end of the night unless they were going home to screw each other…none of those girl left that club with anything except, wet weave (which isn’t cute unless its like Malaysian or something extremely expensive), ruined outfits, and possibly some whiplash from having been banged out so intensely. Again, I am NOT here to judge I am just simply saying that for me this experience has given me a whole new outlook on this idea.
